The post was built under the state apartments in a converted cellar under Windsor Castle.
I wrote to the castle asking for permission to visit the post. I spoke with the 'castle superintendent' who informs me the room is still there but has no remains whatseoever from the ROC days.
He would have been happy to allow a visit however the bunker is now used to store secure state records so a visit isn't possible at the moment ( Jan 2008 )
