Info from subbrit: Non standard design post with the monitoring room constructed within an old magazine. The shaft was deeper than usual and the hatch was flush with the ground. Other surface features as standard.'Between gun emplacements on old coastal battery. On open ground South East of Battery Row overlooking deep water filed ditch.'
On visit to site theres no trace at all of the post, the coastal battery it was in is worth a look around if your down that way, some great views out across the solent as well.
