Derek Wood's history of the ROC lists an underground post at Peacehaven with the call-sign 2/C3. A former ROC member from Newhaven informs me that the surface post at Peacehaven was built as a satellite of Newhaven which was unable to spot low flying aircraft under the cliff along that stretch of coast. No underground post was built at the site. This is confirmed by ROC cluster maps from 1959 and 1966 which do not show the post, neither is it listed in the 1966 schedule of posts from ROC HQ. Nothing remains of the surface post.
