Location: TQ69981278. Opened 1962 Closed 1991 Date of visit: Oct 2008 Post is in a huge reservoir compound in the middle of a housing estate. Once you get to the post site, the post compound and aircraft observation post is now completely overgrown. You can't even see the brick building for ivy and the bunker is now surrounded by nettles and brambles, and also can't be seen.
