Location: TQ17882979. Opened 1961 Closed 1991 Date of visit: Feb 2007 & Jan 2009 Post is open and in excellent condition. Various items remain including the beds and original mattresses, photographic paper, cargo net and a very rare part of the new experimental ventilation system that was being worked on.
