Info from subbrit: Shelly House Acomb Road York OS Grid Ref: SE580515 Date protected accommodation opened: 16.12.1961 Date closed: 1992 Location: Behind Shelly House, Acomb Road, York. The bunker was restored by English Heritage and is now open as a public museum, details of which are here: http://www.english-heritage.org.uk/daysout/properties/york-cold-war-bunker/ . However, disapointingly, English Heritage would not allow a private visit for me to photograph the Group HQ for this website.
