ROC remembered

Location: NZ30880703. Opened 1961 Closed 1991 Date of visit: Dec 2009 Post is open. The hatch does not close properly. Access shaft is in a heavily overgrown compound which is very hard to get too. underground is mouldy and has several dead mice in it which stink unbeliveably badly. However the post still has quite a few items still in situ. A brick built aircraft post stands nearby but is also overgrown.
