ROC remembered

Location: SU07139182. Opened 1962 Closed 1991 Date of visit: April 2009 Post is securely locked. No access underground. The old airfield which Cricklade is situated is now owned by English Nature who apparently hoped to open the post by 2003, and have the post as a Bat Hiberculum. There is no sign that this has happened and the area is still full of signs asking people to stay off the land and threats of dog patrols.
