Location: ST92055098. Opened 1961 Closed 1991 Date of Visit: Feb 2008 Post shaft is sealed in concrete, no access underground however you can take a photo through the vent on the shaft which reveals at least the ladder is still there.There is also now another strange concrete object possibly a road barrier dumped ontop of the shaft.
