Location: SP96048991 Opened 1958 Closed 1991 Date of visit: July 2010 Post is open on the disused part of a WW2 airfield. underground is in okay condition but a mess. The surface features are in a poor condtion and falling to bits. The nearby control tower is now a pile of rubble. Such a shame it wasnt saved.
